till用作連詞用于肯定句時(shí)表示“直到…為止”，指某一動(dòng)作或狀態(tài)一直持續(xù)到till后面的句子所表示的時(shí)間為止，這時(shí)主句的謂語動(dòng)詞是延續(xù)性動(dòng)詞。
till用于否定句時(shí)表示“在…以前，直到…才”，這時(shí)主句表示的是一種持續(xù)的否定狀態(tài)，否定狀態(tài)一結(jié)束，肯定動(dòng)作或狀態(tài)就開始。
